"Hi! I'm Ann Alderson, Expert Home Stager, Re-designer and Color Consultant.”
WHAT SETS ME APART?
What sets me apart from my competition is my exclusive Game Plan. Smart buyers look for a house that is move-in ready in all aspects, and a staged home is just that. But you can't get from "A" to "Z" without a plan. I give all my clients a clear schedule of all the activities that need to take place. I break it down into manageable steps and offer tons of helpful home selling tips and advice. To my knowledge, I am the only Professional Home Stager in the Tampa Bay area setting my clients up for success with a clearly defined Game Plan.
My exclusive Game Plan inlcudes: Stay on Track, Curb Appeal, Closets, Kids Rooms, Pets, Preparing for Home Inspections, and Staging. PLUS, I give my clients access to my network of proven professional affiliates and back everything with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
I have been involved in residential designing to sell for over a decade and I know I can help you achieve your goals for increasing the value of your home, and for decreasing the time it spends on the market. I teach real world staging strategies that work well for everyone, especially families with kids and pets, at a price that is affordable.
BACKGROUND
I was a senior executive assistant with international firms Goldman Sachs and KPMG for over 16 years. While at KPMG, I was one of only 20 senior executive assistants nationwide to be honored as an "Amazing Indispensable Assistant." I was laid off at Goldman in a corporate downsizing in April 2008. After completing three comprehensive staging training programs, Staging South Tampa launched March 1, 2009.
CREDENTIALS
Accredited Staging Professional (ASP), stagedhomes.com (Barb Schwartz, the creator of Home Staging)

An Accreditation is the highest form of training for the home staging industry. The ASP Course is linked to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) to provide education on home staging.
WHAT INSPIRES ME?
Helping people move in their lives. Let's take divorce, for example. The most difficult possession to surrender during a divorce is the home. Staging makes that transition easier. Maximizing assets is crucial during a divorce. You don't want to sell a house at a loss or below market price because one of the owners is dragging his or her feet hoping to hold onto the asset. The goal of staging is to help both parties get the best possible price for the house in the shortest possible time. Staging increases value and lowers days on market, both important factors during a divorce. The process of staging can help clients on the path to psychologically shedding their house. Staging creates a neutral territory, depersonalizes the space and allows the owners to move on in a more positive way.
WHAT CHALLENGES DO I FACE AS AN ENTREPRENEUR?
Let's face it, we're in a really tough real estate market. My biggest challenge is educating Realtors to make it a part of their first client meeting to address staging as part of how they do business. Also, it's hard to ask a seller to spend money on repairs and decor and then ask them to take a beating on the price. But if they're going to sell smart they will have to execute the staging process. This is about getting the house sold at the maximum price the market will bear. If the seller can't do this, then the seller probably shouldn't sell.
WHAT I WILL DO FOR YOU
Home Staging is much more than just cleaning and de-cluttering. It involves being able to distinguish the positives and negatives in a home and knowing what to do to accentuate those positives.
Here are the services I will provide to you:
1. I will come to your home and evaluate its present decor and condition.
2. You will receive my exclusive Game Plan, teaching you very specific strategies and techniques that will work for you and your family (including kids and pets) while you continue to live in the house.
3. I will teach you exactly how you can do improvements on your own or will explain what you need to do to have improvements accomplished professionally for you.
4. I will work with your existing decor and try my best to save you as much money as possible. You will receive a clear schedule of all the activities that need to take place in my Stay on Track.
5. I will make sure you know which projects are the most crucial to your sales success.
6. You will receive detailed, room-by-room client planning forms detailing exactly what needs to happen in every room of your house and I will be available to you for ongoing on-line advice.
Most people do not require the services of a company to come in and do everything for them. Most people simply need a Professional Home Stager (me) to guide them towards fulfilling their home staging needs with expert advice and my exclusive Game Plan.
The process of Home Staging is a never-ending circle--one that revolves around a desire to help people succeed in getting their homes sold faster and for the maximum amount the market will bear.
MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
If you are not 100 percent satisfied with my services, I will refund the entire consultation fee on the spot.

Thank you so very much for staging my home. After being on the market for three months, two weeks after staging we received an offer that we accepted. I now believe in the power of home staging!
~ Kimberly Scafidi
I personally have done over 5,500 home inspections and can say without a doubt that a home that has been staged properly sells faster and for more money. I would recommend that anyone thinking about selling a home get a home staging consultation with Ann first. It can save time and money.
~ James Budrow
I love how therapeutic staging can be for the soul. By creating a neutral ground, you really end up helping your clients surrender their attachment to their property. Florida is so lucky to have your wisdom!
~ Kevin Htain
Ann, I'm impressed by your consultation model. You've really taken the educating part of home staging to a new level. I think it's so important that sellers can compare similar properties as "objectively" as possible. Thank you!
~ Debby Dutilh
Staging really works! We painted, de-cluttered, cleaned and modernized. We eliminated about 1/3 of the furniture. After having a careful look at our competition we priced our home just above the middle but just below the highest priced homes in the area. We sold in one day, before the property even hit the MLS site, and we got our price!
~ Evelyn Martens
We always appreciate your good, sound advice. It makes me take a look around and realize what more needs to be accomplished in order to stay fresh, and refreshed. Thanks so much! Sharing with clients is helpful and well received when it comes through your site and your voice. Keep up the great work!
